Dreamweaver and Stampendous: Fourth Day of Dream-Pendous Fun!

Welcome to another "Dream-Pendous" week of inspiration! The Stampendous team and the Dreamweaver team are collaborating once again with all the fun toys in both team's arsenal. Of course, as usual, there will be great prizes available for those who comment throughout this week. In face there will be three prize packages available to win. Each will have a great selection of Dreamweaver Stencils and Stampendous images and dies...one of which being the new "Blossom Beauty" face image as shown on the badge above.

Here is my creation for today:

Yep...still Pam! Today's posts, both here and on my own blog, were where I went a bit peacock crazy...but it's hard to stop when you can mix both the Stampendous and the Dreamweaver peacock designs! For this card, the background was created with the same technique as the focal point on the card on my blog...a variation on the Dreamweaver Molten Magic technique. I paste-embossed in gold the Peacock Feather background stencil over aqua cardstock, and poured Stampendous Aged Teal Embossing Enamel over the surface. After pouring off the excess, I heated the two layers until they bubbled and melded, creating this awesome metal look with great texture and color. Using the same embossing enamel, I stamped and embossed the Cling Peacock Feather image from Stampendous on black cardstock. A large rhinestone bling was the only embellishment, and a Glossy Black paste-embossed sentiment from Dreamweaver on acetate, provided the finishing touch without covering the beautiful background design.

Please visit the team's players for today, and leave comments as you go!

The card is beautiful. I love the feather background. The gold makes a great accent color. the feather stamped on the black is pretty. Glad you were able to highlight it with the gold too. Putting the sentiment on the vellum allows you to use a large stamp without covering much of the background.
